The dartboard itself is a 15-inch regulation-sized board. It has black and red segments with easy to see yellow outlines. The LED illumination lights up the board for visual effects and to eliminate any shadows.

The entire LCD flat screen is 19 inches wide. The complete dimensions are 27 x 18.5 x 83.5 inches. It weighs 130 pounds, so unpacking it may not be a one-person job. The cabinet of the Spider 360 Galaxy 3 is extremely durable. It’s impact-resistant and unbreakable.

With regards to darts, it has a single or double bull option and you can choose between auto or manual game modes. 4 people can play individually, or you can play with up to 8 people in a game of doubles.

There are a total of around 40 different games you can play; one classic example is the Top Gun Challenge. There will be games for all ages and abilities.

Arachnid Spider 360 Galaxy 3

Spider 360 Galaxy 3 vs Arachnid Cricket Pro 650

This has a 15.5” tournament regulated dartboard with the trademark black and red colors. The segment dividers are micro-thin to reduce bounce-outs. Game features include single in/out and double in/out. Up to eight people can play and individual scores will be recorded on the LED display.

There are 24 games (5 of which are cricket games) and a total of 132 options. It has a handy voice prompt for player throws.

It weighs 75 pounds and measures 51.8 x 26.5 x 5.5 inches. It comes with six soft-tip darts, extra tips, an AC adapter, and a games manual. The cabinet has 3 storage shelves inside.

Spider 360 Galaxy 3 vs Arachnid Cricket Pro 800

As you would imagine, the Pro 800 has some similarities to the Pro 650. The board is the dame size, with the same colors and micro-thin segment dividers. The overall size and weight are very similar too.

There are more games, 39 in total. You will have 7 cricket options and 179 options in total. The LED display has a few extra controls to make programming easier. It can record the scores of up to eight players.

While still a lot cheaper than the Spider 360 Galaxy 3, it’s more expensive than the Pro 800.

Spider 360 Galaxy 3 vs Centerpoint Solid Wood Dartboard Cabinet

The Centerpoint dartboard is also 15.2 inches but had the more traditional British colors of black and white segments with red and green rings. It’s mounted in a solid polar dark cherry finish cabinet. The cabinet can stand freely or it can be wall-mounted.

There are 29 games with 90 variations. The display has easy to read scoring and up to 8 people can play at once. 6 soft-tip darts are included and there is convenient storage for the darts on the board. It is integrated with voice and sound effects to keep players on their toes.

Spider 360 Galaxy 3 vs Shelti Eye II Electronic Dart Board

Finally, another arcade-style machine, the Shelti is a sleek modern looking machine with straight lines. The scoreboard is overhead for clear visibility. There is a large LCD menu and the settings are controlled by a phone-style keypad.

There are multiple games and options, however, the exact numbers aren’t stated, the same goes for the number of players. It has a Tavern-Tested T60/30 Target.

The dimensions are 48 x 35 x 28 inches. This machine is foldable, so we assume the dimensions provided are for the folded product. It weighs a massive 250 pounds.

The Final Word

It would seem that the cheaper versions are just an electric dartboard mounted into a wooden cabinet. They are absolutely fine for the price and do look very attractive, but you won’t get the arcade feel from either of these. That being said, they do come with voice scoring, which is a great feature, and we liked the additional shelving space under the board.

The problem with the Shelti is that it is very much lacking product information. If you are about to invest this kind of money, you want to know exactly what you are getting. We don’t even know if it comes with darts, or the number of games there are. On a positive, we liked the overall design and the overhead scoreboard.

The Spider 360 Galaxy 3 is the most expensive of the electronic dartboards we have viewed, however, the LCD display is far superior, as are the graphics. The controls are straightforward. The dartboard is displayed on a 19-inch LCD display, unlike the others. And the LED illumination really adds to the gaming experience.
